How to use the Zebra Finch Designer

The Zebra Finch Designer has a user interface that looks like this:

  1. Click 'New pair', 'New male' or 'New female' in the menu to the right.
  2. Select one or more mutations in the list to the right of the screen (the above is a picture - so you can't do it here). The Zebra Finch Designer will show you what the combation of the mutations selected should look like.
  3. Click zebrafinch.info. The Zebra Finch Designer will redirect you to a page that has information about the mutation or combination you have selected.
  4. Repeat...

Technical Issues

The Zebra Finch Designer requires that your browser supports Java version 1.1 or better. If the Zebra Finch Designer doesn't work in your browser, you should upgrade to a newer version, og make sure that Java Virtual Machine is installed and enabled.
