Mutations not included in the Zebra Finch Designer

There are a few mutations not included in the Zebra Finch Designer. This is because the mutations in question are relatively unknown and/or resticted to a limited geographical area.

The following mutations are not included:

• Cream Back (Australian)
• Black Front (Australian)
• Grizzle (Australian)
• Charcoal (Australian)
• George (Australian)
• Florida Fancy (American) - looks a lot like Isabel
• Eumo (European) - looks like the Australian Charcoal
• Light Cheeked (European)
• Gezoomde (European)
• Phino (European) - probably extinct
• Agate (European)

In addition to these, the Australian Black Bodied and the Australian Black Face are not included. The European Black Face is in all likelihood a variation of the same mutation. Visually it is somewhere between the two Australian varieties.

Can't find the colour you are looking for?

If you can't find a particular colour, then it may in fact be a combination that has been given a distinct name. The Zebra Finch Designer works on individual mutation names only. Some possible combinations include the following:

• Grey Cheeked - this is just called 'Cheeked'
• Fawn Cheeked - select 'Fawn' and 'Cheeked'
• Cream - select 'Fawn' and 'Silver'
• Phaeo - select 'Fawn' and 'Isabel' and 'Black Breasted'
