This is basically the normal zebra finch as it is found in the wild. Domesticated zebra finches differ from wild zebra finches in a couple of areas:
This is a domesticated, Australian exhibition type bird (left) and a wild caught zebra finch (right). The Australian show bird above is about as big as they come in Australia. It would have been interesting to have a European show bird on the same photo, as they are a bit bigger than their Australian counterparts.
