Penguin

The Penguin mutation causes all black markings to become white, even though grey and orange areas are left intact.

This is an autosomal recessive mutation.

A pair of Penguins.

The most difficult part about breeding Penguin Zebra Finches is probably getting rid of the trace markings that remain on the chin/throat.

This male Penguin demonstrates how some Penguins still show an extreme amount of striping on the chest. All the zebra stripes are a show fault on this variety.
